I am a husband, dad, REALTOR, world traveler, foodie, Seattle sports fan, philanthropist, renovator, and lover of all things architectural. I enjoy going to movies, unexpected get togethers, a beer in the sun, and strolling Green Lake - often with my wife Nicole, Baby Grayson, and dog, Walter, in tow.

With more than a decade honing my skills, I have remained at Windermere Real Estate. It offers my clients phenomenal regional and international presence, long-standing relationships, and a relevant approach to both buying and selling.

I currently live in Green Lake and was raised in Sammamish, so I am well versed in each unique neighborhood the Puget Sound has to offer. I believe in homeownership and navigating buyers and sellers through their journey.  My goal is to easily explain current market conditions, so my clients can make educated decisions. Being named one of Seattle Magazine’s Five Star Real Estate Brokers since 2015 is a humbling award I will always strive to receive.

In 2012, I created the Kitchen-to-Table Project as a way of giving back.  With the sale of each home, I donate 1,000 pounds of fresh produce to local families in need. Proudly, over 200,000 pounds of food have been donated to date. Whenever possible, I help pack and ship the food myself.

What Clients Are Saying

Jeff Howbert

"I've only bought and sold a few homes in my life. I'd always felt realtors' commissions were extravagant, and couldn't quite see what they did to justify them. After working with David, my view of him was completely different. He earned every penny. We had the significant challenge of selling a dated home in a hot market in a neighborhood that was both highly desirable and had no inventory. David guided me to what turned out, in retrospect, to be all the right decisions regarding how much to invest in fixing it up, staging, and asking price. The final sale price was about $150,000 more than I thought we might get. On top of that, David was a genuine pleasure to work with: personable, upbeat, prompt and transparent in communication, and an obvious expert on the technicalities of his profession. I would recommend him without reservation to anyone wanting to sell or buy a home on the Eastside."

Keegan Petty

"Mr. Hogan was phenomenal to work with! He conducted his market research and provided me a listing price I was very happy with, then took full control in staging and preparing my house, it looked AMAZING!! To top it all off, he got me 22% over asking price!!! I will only use Mr. Hogan in my future real estate purchases, he is by far the BEST in the Greater Seattle area!!"

Jason & Amy Eckerman

"David was exceptional from beginning to end. He provided helpful and sound advice regarding our strategy for listing our home first so we didn't have to be contingent buyers as well as how to stage/declutter our home in preparation for sale. We feel so fortunate to have listed our house the way we did and when we did as we received great results. David then provided the cherry on top with his negotiating skills during the offer review. The goal most folks have when they sell their home is to minimize stress, minimize listing time, and maximize sale price. David exceeded our expectation with each of these. If you need a knowledgable, friendly partner, who excels at communication, strategy, and negotiation, you will not be disappointed with David!"

Luke & Jayme Van Oot

"We bought our condo with David in February and it was a great experience! He was very knowledgable and helpful throughout the whole process. He was kind, supportive and responsive. His help putting together a competitive offer and his outreach to the listing team on our behalf was really a critical factor in getting our offer accepted. In the Seattle housing market every little bit counts and it was a great advantage to have David on our team!"

Brad & Monique Fink

"We wanted to buy a townhouse for an investment property. We met David via a recommendation and are really glad we did.  We haven't purchased a property since our primary residence in 2001 and there have been a lot of changes. David took the time up front before we had really decided whether we wanted to do anything to get us up to speed on the condo/rental market and help us focus our strategy.    The overall process was very smooth and he was really on top of things and kept us well updated. After the initial purchase when we got access to the HOA agreement he went the extra mile and dug into our HOA agreement on his own including calling the HOA manager for clarifications and then walked us through what he thought are areas to look at more deeply.  David is also well connected with a good property management agency and the combination for us worked out very well. We’d highly recommend David for any real estate needs."
